Life is but a
temporary journey. It gives us
happiness, struggles, and dilemmas, but
needless to say, we cannot force life
to stay until it’s time for it to depart because it has its own cruise. Nobody
has been given an authority to manipulate another one’s life except that it is
permitted of him/her. Everyone’s destiny is based from the blue print that God
designed for everyone to live.
There’s
seemingly an end to everything. Nobody controls
time and nobody holds time. On the onset, everyone will be accounted of
the choices he/she makes. That’s why the options that we pick are obviously
what determine our life ahead. Its results, whether disapproving or encouraging
would be a contributing factor for us to become the person God wishes us to
become or to go astray and suffer the consequence.
On our way, heading north or south, always has
something ahead for us to accomplish. Tough it may seem, or easy it may be
appear to be, expect that there’s always a situation where God tries us and puts
us to test in every possible way He allows. But It’s an awesome thing though that
we are controlled by an Omnipotent being(Almighty), an Omniscient God(All-knowing)
and an Omnipresent God (All-present).
His love is
so stubborn that even if we continue evading from Him and trying to walk away
from Him, He still keeps on following and stalking, making it possible for us
to be trapped on something so that we stop and listen to Him and call on Him
and consider Him. By then, we feel frustrated, tired and defeated. And that’s
the time that God opens up His arms and
gives us comfort like no other.
Our flight
back home has no reverse. . . There is no turning back! After death, we face
eternity. No more time to repent. No more time to get back and start life anew.
Death is not even the end of life but facing life eternal is. This is the
moment of excitement for those who are ready to meet the Redeemer, Jesus
Christ! But for those who are caught unaware, who died unprepared, the lake of
fire awaits….and this is eternity!
Now . . . sit back, think and evaluate. Which way are
you treading? Life & Blessings? OR Death & Condemnation?
Remember, we
cannot pass and live in this world again! It’s only ONCE! 2 Pet. 3:9 says, “The Lord is not slack concerning his
promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not
willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”
