A Cloud Free Days . . . Possible?

Is there a possibility of a cloud free days? Isn’t it normal to experience both downstream and upstream  everyday? Isn’t it part of our life’s survival to feel pain, emotional bruise, Struggle, Wants and needs not being met, disappointment and other painful experiences in life? Well, with whatever connection people would tie up to the situation . . . I firmly believe that God has a special purpose why He allow us to pass through every situation and experience we are encountering in life.

Life have tempests and will continue to have them. There is no way to run off entirely the tempests, adversities, and trials of life.  It’s part of the human condition. There is no way to have any guarantee that life from this moment on will never be filled with storms. But there are plenty of promises that God has given to us from His Word that He will be with us no matter what may come our way. We do  everything humanly  possible to avoid these storms and attempt to protect our loved ones from their blizzard, unsuccessfully. The promises are not that we will have a storm-free-life, but that in every downstream which come our way, He will be there to comfort, guide, and protect us. The promises are for good days and bad days,  and every kind in between. He hasn’t promised cloud free days, but He has promised strength. Whatever the situation or test, He has promised to be there with us. And the bottom line is that there is no positive security  in this life but there is a positive promise of strength from God for each day!

There is not  a whole lot to be added to this reality  . . . it says it all. Would it be fair  to say that sometimes life is wasted  on the thought of trying to settle a problem the way we consider best but not the way God wants it to happen?  We get smart too late . . . only when we are caught between conflicting situation. We wake up to the lessons of life after the lesson has been experienced .  Too often, it’s painful. Greed is one of those passions which must be conquered early on, or it will haunt you the rest of your life. After all, how much of this world’s story can you take  with you when you die? Remember that there  are no more chances of getting on time to your destiny when you reach the blind alley.

There is always a dead end . . . and when we reach the point, we are trapped! As we see around, there is no way out to exit!  What we are going to do is to look up to God. No matter how evil we do, if we sincerely give up everything to God, repent and ask forgiveness, He is faithful to forgive us of our sins . . . “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9).

Pains, trials, disappointments, problems and other hindrances are part of life while still on earth. Why? Because these are the basis of God to test us and for Him to manifest His love, favor, strength, and His grace. As we start giving up our life to Him and serve Him . . . It is also the time for us to get ready because God will try our faith and purge us of everything about us so He may replace it with His strength and loving kindness. The more we experience such dilemma and testing in our lives, the more His favor and His grace can be manifested in our daily survival! And that’s when God is changing us from glory to glory in Christ Jesus!

As human beings, we are all imperfect! But God is changing us from glory to glory as adhere to Him day after day. . . “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, [even] as by the Spirit of the Lord” (2 Cor. 3:18).

We are not promised a cloud free days . . . but we are promised strength day after day! In fact, God’s grace alone can let us stand amidst anything beyond our strength and our capability to tackle them. God is always good . . . Yeah! all the time!

The Unstoppable Call of God . . .

Everyone believer is called with different responsibility in the ministry. Apostle Paul emphasized the five-fold ministry into the church in Ephesians. We are one body but composed of many parts . . .  From the least recognizable part to the most positioned work one holds in the ministry. Everyone is important as well as the least recognizable work one had been part of in the ministry of God.

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” So powerful words from the book of Jeremiah 1:5. Four things are being emphatically stressed out: I formed you, I knew you, I set you apart, and I appointed you. Isn’t it an amazing thought to ponder?  Our lives has been pre-ordained by God for a great purpose . . . and that is to put His name above every name. To worship Him and give back to Him all the Glory, Honor, and Thanksgiving forever!

Apostle Paul tells us in the book of Philippians 3:13-14: Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”  To press  toward is to be tied with God’s calling in our life for the ministry.  It is giving focus to the Author and Finisher of our Faith who is Jesus Christ, our Lord and our Savior!

Like Apostle Paul, nothing can ever separate us from God . . . “For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord”, (Romans 8:38-39). Yeah, nothing can ever separate us from God’s Love. The foundation of our passion should not end up when failure comes, or even when needs and wants are not met, not even insurmountable difficulty or calamity, and even death of loved ones.

God’s plans are perfect. His destiny for us has already been prepared. It is a destiny of wonders and great amusements. It is a place of no tears and pains. It is a place where everyone is happy and joyful. It is a place of everlasting celebration with God and His chosen people rejoicing in glory.

When God calls us for the ministry, there would be no turning back. It is always going forward! It is pressing on . . . it is preparing on . . . it is working on  . . . it is a never ever getting back but moving on . . . full of prayers and reading of the words of God. Let us all walk worthy of our calling and let us stand on as we profess having a Christ in our hearts . . . and having a Christ-like church with passionate worship that touches the heart of God!

For the moment, God is preparing the place and the way we will be treading soon . . . from everlasting to everlasting His glorious presence will shine forth everywhere. I am looking forward for that great day where there would never be pain felt, no more tears of regrets and disappointments but only joy forever. People will never recognize the negatives . . .  only the positives. They will only knew one Lord of Lords and King of Kings . . . Jesus Christ!

there were only one of us."
