Hope Beyond . . .

Hope is a word that best describes optimism. This word may be overly used but rarely acted and actualized. We may hear people say that they have hope or they are hoping but they don’t act according to what their mouths are uttering. Yeah, it’s sad to know sometimes that we are weak at putting our declarations into action. This is where we lack at its greater speed.

It looks like that life appears to hold at its slightest two kinds of people – negativists and positivists. But we find that the pessimists are more vocal in their expressions of why something cannot be done. It’s a whole lot wiser and healthier to listen and become one of those persons who say it can be done! There are no easy short-cuts in life! There is no way that you can say just barely get by, especially when it comes to laying foundational truths into your own personal life. If the foundation is strong and built with the best of materials, it allows the structure erected upon it  to also stand the test of time. Cutting corners, using slapdash materials, eventually, leads to disaster. At some point in life, all of us must pay our dues.

Crossing the bar is part of our survival! There will come a time for all of us to bearably cross the bar! At times, the obstruction is excruciating. It’s a whole lot agonizing . . .  and it’s sooner today than it has been at any time in our past. When we reach our golden years, we begin to think about how this life is going to end. We have observed the cycles of life . . . birth and death . . . young and old . . . In fact, we have lived through many of these life  cycles. It’s time to think about getting home, dashing the last lap, concluding the race, positioning the final AMEN to this life.

Would there be hope after being defeated? Would there be a chance getting up after being rejected? Would there be a positive conclusion on every painful encounter we have been through in life?  . . . And more questions to be asked just to pacify the heart that longs for a satisfying answer.

To the rest of us, our lives seemed to amount to nothing but speculation. What have we done to make our world a better place? What have we contributed in order for our life to be a blessing to every eye that sees? Nothing we could think of.  Nothing . . . .  except that we simply are becoming self-centered and prideful. Having gone astray and extravagantly enjoying worldly pleasures.

The book of Revelation 22:12 tells us,  "Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will to everyone according to what he has done.

If there is hope in this world, then, there is also hope after death. Is it therefore right to ask: “Will death  be our enemy or our friend?” The answer to that all depends upon how you have lived your life to this moment, If you, my friend, have never made a decision to make the Lord Jesus Christ your Savior, this can be your moment. With your confession, you can invite Him to be your Guide, your “Pilot”.  It’s a choice that only you can make.

Today I wish I knew the formula for impressing you and other young people, including myself that life is a mirror which will reflect back to you what you think into it.

Let us all believe that tomorrow will be a better day! Let has all exude faith for the future! Let us all have faith in relationships! Let us all outshine everything with faith in God! Let us embrace a kind of faith that moves mountain! Let us all believe that everything is possible with God!

Think a moment . . . and make whatever life application comes to mind . . . an application that emanates from Godly wisdom. And we can only do so if we choose to put Jesus Christ as the center of our life.

There is HOPE BEYOND! Yeah, hope that is  in Jesus Christ alone.

Revelation 3:20
'Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens  the door,
I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.
